Quick Honey Sriracha Bacon Brussels Sprouts

This Quick Honey Sriracha Bacon recipe will take your Brussels sprouts to a whole new level. After being roasted just right, these Brussels sprouts are topped with crispy bacon and a sweet and spicy honey Sriracha sauce. This is a delicious side dish that is also very easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C


Add the Brussels sprouts to a large bowl and season with salt and pepper


Place the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet


Heat the oven and put the potatoes in it


Roast them for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy


Honey and Sriracha sauce should be mixed together in a small bowl


Pour the honey-Sriracha mix over the roasted Brussels sprouts and toss to cover them all


After putting the Brussels sprouts back in the oven for 5 minutes, sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of them


Take it out of the oven, add chopped fresh parsley on top, and serve right away

Grilled Cheese-and-Bacon

This classic grilled cheese and bacon sandwich has crispy bacon and gooey cheddar cheese that goes well together. It's a popular comfort food!

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread

  • 8 slices of bacon

  • 8 slices of cheddar cheese

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions:

Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy


Remove and drain on paper towels


Place 4 slices of bread on a clean surface


Layer 2 slices of cheddar cheese on each of the 4 bread slices


Divide the crispy bacon evenly and place it on top of the cheese slices


Top each with the remaining 4 slices of bread to make sandwiches


Spread butter on the outer sides of each sandwich


Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat


Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side


Remove from the skillet, cut in half, and serve hot

Red Fruit Waffles

Indulge in a delightful breakfast with these homemade red fruit waffles. The combination of sweet, fluffy waffles and tart red fruits is a perfect morning treat!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 1/2 cups milk

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl with a whisk


Put the eggs in a different bowl and beat them


Then add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract


Combine well


Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed


Make sure not to mix it too much; a few lumps are fine


Add the mixed red fruits slowly to the batter


Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot


Cooking spray or oil that doesn't stick should be used to lightly grease the waffle iron


Set the lid back on the waffle iron and pour enough batter on top of the waffle grid to cover it


Depending on your waffle iron, it should take about 5 minutes to cook the waffles until they are golden brown and crisp


Taking the waffles out of the iron with care, keep them warm in a low oven while you cook the rest of the batter


Warm the red fruit waffles up and pour maple syrup on top of them

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Wood chips for smoking

Instructions:

Preheat your grill or smoker to 225F 107C


Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels


In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the marinade


Brush the marinade over both sides of the ribs, ensuring an even coating


Let them marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor


Soak wood chips in water for 30 minutes, then add them to the coals for a smoky flavor


Place the ribs on the grill or smoker, bone side down


Smoke for 3-4 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature


During the last 30 minutes, baste the ribs with additional maple syrup for a sweet glaze


Check for doneness by pulling two ribs apart they should easily separate


Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve
